I have always been told if i can always avoid using credit cards and use cash to make purchases. when i read the article i got the same basic idea that when i use credit cards that if i pay the balance efficiently, in the future getting loans for something large like a house will be made a great deal easier with a good credit history.

having recently come to college, everything goes on the credit card. of course, only what i can actually afford i know for darn sure that i can cover when that statement comes.
the reasoning being to start building credit NOW. not when i can't.
