Americans' opinions about New York Sen. and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton mirror the underlying partisan divide in the American population today. According to an analysis of a special aggregated sample of more than 7,000 interviews in which Americans were asked to rate Clinton, all conducted between June and September of this year, the public is split precisely down the middle when asked whether its opinions of Clinton are favorable or unfavorable.
Forty-eight percent of Americans have a favorable opinion of Clinton, while 48% have an unfavorable opinion. Only 4% don't have an opinion of Clinton, making her one of the nation's most well-recognized (and polarizing) political figures.

Seems her popularity is lowering, which is a good thing. Her chances of winning the nomination are slimming down. Thats some real good news.
I have to agree with Mitch. I am that Hilary's popularity is lowering. But when looking at the poll, it makes me think that...well, it could swing either way, her not being president (WOO-HOO!) or her being president (BOO!).
I meant to say I am glad that Hilary's popularity is lowering I forgo the glad in the post above...sorry. :(

Besides, Sarcasm...poking fun at the media. Why do "we" as Americans say we're not ready for a female or minority president?
By saying this are "we" really saying something else that no one wants to publicly say...Hmmm.
Do we feel they are qualified, capable, or are there any old prejudices lurking about in the American body public?
I would probably come to the conclusion that many people in our society feel that a women would not be a good leader. They wouldn't want a female to be the icon of America. They view a female as incapable and unfit to assume a masculine role. And Obama is just to young to be running for the presidency.
